In turn, enemies can only pierce the 200 Attack shield of LifeAur3 in Holy panel by first dealing as much as 400 Attack. Combine this with any LifeAur and players can get twice the shielding. When standing in a Holy panel, all damage received by the player gets halved. LifeAur3 is best paired with Sanctuary, which transforms all of the player’s panels to the Holy Attribute. While a 200 Attack shield doesn’t seem as much in terms of defense, it’s using this shield in a combo that makes it an annoyance to foes. This is obtained by defeating BassDelux, with its Aur2 (repels 150) and Aur1 (repels 100) being purchasable from the ACDC Station Chip Trader and various members of the Scuttle virus family. Considered the most potent in the LifeAur family, LifeAur3 in Battle Network gameplay will repel all abilities under 200 Attack. Players of any RPG know that damage mitigation is just as important as protection, and Battle Network 2 players enjoy such a feature in the form of LifeAur3. Using this combo can make SnakeMan do a 15-hit combo to an opponent that can deal as much as 3150 Attack in one go. When players use SnakeMan modded with four Wood+40 chips in this setup, he gets a base 210 Attack. RELATED: All Mega Man Battle Network 5: Team Colonel and Team Protoman Version ExclusivesĮssentially, SnakeMan is best paired with the Geddon chip family designed to break panels, particularly Geddon2, which immediately breaks all empty squares. However, players who understand that the game does let players break panels to lock opponents in place that SnakeMn can become a centerpiece for a decent combo. At its core, using SnakeMn hits for 50 Attack on top of snakes he releases from holes that deal 50 Attack (for each hole). In Battle Network 2 gameplay, this translates to exploiting the system - and SnakeMn is a seemingly unimposing battle chip that packs a lot of punch when used in this manner. If there’s anything Battle Network teaches about games, it’s that winning smartly is more satisfying than winning the traditional way. Since there’s only one Grass panel left, the first meteor hits for 400 Attack (Fire-type Meteors interacting with Grass) and the other 29 for 200 Attack, totaling a whopping 6,200 Attack. Afterward, Meteors has to be used with four Fire+40 chips, resulting in a base Meteors of 200 Attack. Players need to use three AreaGrabs to ensure opponents are stuck in a single panel, and then GrassStg to convert all panels to grass and remove damage-reducing Holy panels. Maximizing Meteors’ potential does need quite a lot of chips, but it can easily defeat almost any boss when executed properly. While its base 90-120 Attack is already decent as a generic attack chip, it’s when slotted into a combo that Meteors can become a force to reckon with. Such is the case of Meteors, a Fire Attribute chip that deals 40 Attack for a total of 30 times spread in an area (all panels x3, three panels x4). The reason why there’s no singular “great” chip in any Battle Network game is that they’re oftentimes relegated to the role of “core” chips built into massive combos. For maximum effect, players might want to consider adding AreaGrabs to their Battle Network 2 gameplay to ensure enemies are trapped in this DOT nightmare. Estimating that PoisMask/PoisFace lasts around 20 seconds, players can deal as much as 800 Attack without direct attacks. Capping this with either PoisMask or PoisFace can add yet another coating of poison to the field. For instance, Anubis is best paired with Geddon3, since the latter transforms the enemy’s side into swamp tiles that are automatically poisonous. While poison damage, in general, is a measly 10 Attack per second, combining Anubis with other poison dealers can make it the core piece of a neat DOT kit. Acquired from either PharoManV3 or the Marine Harbor Chip Trader, Anubis summons a coffin that continuously deals poison damage to panels in front of it unless either it or its user is destroyed. Players of the Battle Network franchise have a means of focusing on poison as well, and Anubis can become a centerpiece of DOT-based combos. However, just which chips stand out from the rest in Battle Network 2? 10 FreezBomĭamage dealers in any RPG know that damage-over-time gameplay can become pesky to deal with, and this is often represented by poison-affecting attacks. Thanks to the addition of multiple folders, more chip codes, and even the visually-impressive Style Change mechanic, Battle Network 2 gives players more opportunities to go wild with their chip combinations. When Lan Hikari and MegaMan.EXE defeated RELATED: All Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar and Cybeast Falzar Exclusivesįor players who recently acquired the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, playing Battle Network 2 once again or even for the first time will introduce quite a number of improvements from the original entry.

Given the potential harm caused by misinformation about the severity of COVID-19 and how to prevent the virus, we fact-checked some of the documentary’s most misleading claims. Most of that engagement appears to have been driven by Brian Rose and his organization London Real, which is behind the website that hosted "Plandemic 2" and has a history of airing falsehoods about COVID-19. Still, according to CrowdTangle, a social media insights tool, Facebook and Instagram posts with the term "Plandemic" have received tens of thousands of combined interactions since Aug. TikTok appeared to block searches for the term "Plandemic." Twitter added a warning message saying the link is "potentially spammy or unsafe." Soon after the live feed started, Facebook blocked its users from sharing the link in posts and private messages. Tens of millions of people saw the shorter video before social media platforms removed it for violating their policies against harmful COVID-19 misinformation. It starts where its predecessor left off - a defense of false and misleading claims made by Judy Mikovits, a discredited former scientist at the National Cancer Institute - and ends with aphorisms about humanity and heroism. The video follows up on the shorter "Plandemic" that went viral in May (and was removed by tech companies for violating misinformation policies). Helicopter Review : Bell 407 XP11 (Pro) by Dreamfoil Creations It is always debatable on what is the best simulation in X-Plane in any category as there is never a clear absolute winner and so it is with helicopters as the field is by other standards small, is very and highly competitive. But without doubt and certainly with all the accolades it has received since it was released three years ago in 2014, then Dreamfoil Creation's amazing Bell 407 is certainly at the very top. With this release the aircraft has been updated to X-Plane11 and is known as the XP11 in the version name, so this is an update on the older version, but also a new release in the fact that is a lot of changes and new features. So that means a new version does require a repurchase for the X-Plane11 version at a 5c increase to US$35.00, but previous X-Plane10 owners can upgrade to this new XP11 version for only $15. The coupon code for the discount can be found in the original Bell 407 invoice at the X-Plane.Orgstore.įirst you will make the note that in the title above I noted (Pro). This is not an official title as I added it in myself. The reason behind that title is that Dreamfoil has taken away in this XP11 version the "rigid cruise" and "arcade mode" functions, or easy flight aids that helped entry and trainee or the just plain helpless helicopter wannabe pilots in the exchange of a new autopilot feature. This omission does now make the Bell 407 quite perfect in its flight dynamics, but the aircraft also does now require a lot more skill in doing so, the "Pro's" out there will revel in the aircraft, but unfortunately the lower classes will find it harder to fly without any crutches to help you fly around the delicate flight balance. The Dreamfoil Bell 407 was excellent before, but with its new X-Plane11 PBR shiny coat and lighting features, the 407 looks simply outstanding in any light. The PBR lighting highlights the bodywork more and the detailing, glass is also more highly reflective and looks superb on the 407. Internally the PBR really helps as well, making the interior even more plush and dynamic and now has interior normal maps for higher quality.Īny developer that crafted high quality external and internal textures really benefit from X-Plane11 PBR features as Dreamfoil does here, the cabin environment was excellent before, but in XP11 the 407's cabin is now simply mindblowing. With this update you now have two versions as well, one with the original brown leather and now the new black leather on the "Black Goldy" and "Lighting Blue" liveries. Of course any smart user could adjust the other liveries to their interior choice in the object files. Realism in the cockpit in X-Plane11 is awe inspiring, even better in the air.Īll the great features on the original 407 are also all still here. GPU (Ground Power Unit), Fuel Tank and fuel loading, battery access, and four opening doors with baggage compartment, What is new is that the actions on opening up the doors, getting inside the aircraft and other external items have been refined so all the actions can be done externally and with not having to open the menu each time, the menu is available externally as well if you want it by pressing certain areas on the aircraft (a circle). The two door choices with the full (side) and standard glass has now a third option in a smaller frame window, the glass opens as well. Low skid, High skid, baskets, Cineflex camera, sling hook, floats, cable cutter, frahm damper are all still here. There is a great new feature in the aircraft ground moving electric cart. This movable cart is controlled via your joystick. Press the circle on the nose of the cart to raise the aircraft, then control the speed and direction via your joystick. Waterproof Dymo Labelwriter 450 labels are made with a water resistant polypropylene thermal material, combined with a durable, water-resistant permanent adhesive. Printing them like this would result in less vibrancy but would no longer require an extra ink channel to be used.ĭigital printing became a challenge for Pantone because users were no longer able to add additional colors to their standard CMYK process colors. These books showed the Pantone colors after they were converted to CMYK colors. When offset printing became more standardized through ISO, SWOP, and EuroScale standardizations, Pantone also started offering Pantone Process books. And, it always required a fifth ink channel (or more, depending on the amount of Pantone colors used) to be added to the printing process. Mixing the colors was done first by hand using scales, and later with fully automated and expensive ink mixing systems. That said, this simplicity did come with costs. This system was revolutionary, especially back in the day when larger offset printing companies had entire collections of ink cans containing the named ink colors. All numbered colors are made by mixing the 15 named ink colors using recipes that can be found in the Pantone books, right underneath the colored swatches. Today’s Pantone books contain more than 1300 different colors, of which approximately 15 are named the rest are given specific numbers. Instead of referencing ink recipes and mixing percentages, people now could simply name the color they wanted - like ordering off a menu at a restaurant. This provided a huge amount of value as it made it easy for designers and printers to talk about color. So the question is: what happens now? Will Pantone’s move to a separate, user-purchased subscription model pay off? Is the Pantone system still the best solution for working with specific brand colors? To answer this, let’s dive a little deeper into the technology and science behind printing accurate colors! Historyīelieve it or not, Pantone started as an ink formulation company - mixing pigments into specific colors and naming them. However, for the modern print service provider, it is an entirely different story: printing Pantone colors has become increasingly difficult with the digitization of printing technologies. Pantone became wildly popular in the era of offset and screen printing and is still popular amongst designers. It looks like Pantone is pushing users towards that model and Adobe was not willing to facilitate by including a Pantone license in their subscription fees, like it used to do in the past. This however requires the user to have an active Pantone subscription on top of paying for the Adobe Creative Cloud. Pantone also developed an extension that can be used with Adobe software, which gives access to the online Pantone libraries on PantoneLIVE. Over the past few years, Pantone has been focusing on PantoneLIVE and moved its business more and more into the direction of a subscription-based service. Allegedly, Adobe was no longer willing to pay for the license fees Pantone is charging. However, many sources close to the companies are reporting a different story. The companies’ official statements are putting a lot of positive spin on the announcement, and promise that while Adobe and Pantone’s marriage is over, they will continue to collaborate to give the user the best experience possible. To those that license Pantone Libraries, or develop tools that utilize Pantone libraries, this may have even been a long time coming. While the announcement came as a surprise for most, there have certainly been warning signs. 2022 has started with what is possibly the biggest news in the Graphics Industry in years: “ Adobe to drop support for Pantone libraries in March of 2022”! Needless to say, this will have consequences for anyone involved in graphic design and printing services. "The whole thing has been like a Rashomon experience," producer Bill Hayward, who died in 2008, told the filmmakers who made Easy Rider: Shaking The Cage. The history of the production has also been particularly messy. Several of the key figures involved with the film have died, including director Dennis Hopper and credited screenwriter Terry Southern. More than 45 years after the production of Easy Rider, it's difficult to sort out the exact timeline of the film's creation, and the various responsibilities of the people involved. That film would eventually become Easy Rider. "I said, 'Well, I can build whatever we need for the film right here at my place,' " Vaughs remembers. An Associated Press story in the Los Angeles Times even noted his work in Mississippi in 1964. In bits and pieces, the story behind the Easy Rider choppers began to emerge publicly, and identified two African-American bike builders: Clifford "Soney" Vaughs, who designed the bikes, and Ben Hardy, a prominent chopper-builder in Los Angeles, who worked on their construction.īefore working on Easy Rider, Clifford Vaughs was active in the civil rights movement in the 1960s. In fact, two documentaries about the production of Easy Rider - 1995's Born To Be Wild and 1999's Easy Rider: Shaking The Cage - never name the men who designed and built the choppers. And curiously, the Easy Rider bikes were never associated with any particular builder." Whose hands turned the wrenches? Who welded the steel? Most of the time, d'Orleans says, choppers are associated with their builders, "because they are an artistic creation. I mean, suddenly people were building choppers in Czechoslovakia, or Russia, or China, or Japan." The bikes in Easy Rider, d'Orleans says, "did more to popularize choppers around the world than any other film or any other motorcycle. The bike currently for sale was partially destroyed in the film's finale, the auction house says, and then rebuilt by actor Dan Haggerty.
